Tinty Tots Soccer September 2008

Soccer was started the last week of August for practice and went threw out the month of September. Their First Soccer game was on their birthday and they enjoyed that. We brought treats of cupcakes with soccer rings on them. Ty did well at the game he chased the ball and ran hard. Kai'imi scored a couple of goals and loved being right in the middle of the whole game. It was very fun to see the difference from the first game to their last game. Both Ty and Kai'imi got lighting patches which were the best patch. It was for assisting with a goal. They will play again in the Spring and I can't wait! They have excellent coaches. Coach Ben and Coach Robbie have been really patient and excellent teachers to them. I really hope that they will stick with it as they get older. Thank you to all those who supported them during this soccer season.

Pumpkin Patch 10-06-08

For the last 4 years we have been coming to Pack Farms in Farmington to their Pumpkin patch!

Our Scarecrow group!
Bret walking threw the maze

Okay so before you look on at the pictures, I have to tell you all that before we got out of the car. I told Nick, Ty, and Kai'imi that they could pick out a pumpkin of their choice as long as they could carry it out by themselves.

So this is what happened........................

Ty carrying his pumpkin
Nick carrying his pumpkin
Ilikea and I with our family pumpkin
and then ................................
Kai'imi carrying her pumpkin out!!!!
It was so much fun and I really hope to carry out this tradition.
We went with the Pages this year and it was a blast. We went the first Monday of the month thinking that it wouldn't be so crowed. Yes we were wrong, but it was still a fun Family Night and Thank you Pages for going with us.

Pumpkin Carving 10-27-08

Yes, I have finally craved my 2nd pumpkin. I only craved one other pumpkin and that was in college. I would tell though that I don't remember doing all the work as I did this time. Kai'imi and I were going to do it together but she put her hand in it once and wouldn't do it again. She said it was YUCK! Bret and Ty cleaned theirs out and craved it together. Ty seemed to really like it. I had a blast once I was done cleaning it out. The Hicks invited us over to carve pumpkins with them since they are pros at it. It was such a wonderful Family Home Evening activity. Thank you Hicks Family. You are all a great family and we appreciate you guys.

At the Zoo every year just before Halloween they do a Boo at the Zoo. The kids get to go dressed up and go trick or treating around the Zoo. The kids had a blast and so did I. It was really fun to see all the other children running around in costume as well.

Kai'imi Hula 11-21-08

Just wanted to share a little clip of Kai'imi dancing Hula with her hula group. They proformed for Bolton Elementary School, that did a Hawaiian Luau. I was very proud of Kai'imi for dancing in front of all those people. There was probably over 500 people. Kai'imi danced two numbers. She did well and I really hope that she keeps up with it.

Big Helpers!

Since we don't have church till 1 pm this year, we have taken to making Breakfast every Sunday morning except for Fast Sunday. Kai'imi and Ilikea love to get up earlier and help me cook. They love to be involved in making breakfast and then waking everyone up.
Usually Uncle Trent stays Saturday night to have breakfast with us on Sunday. Its been a blessing to have him around each weekend. We have love having him. If Uncle Trent isn't here for Sunday Breakfast Ty usually says its not Sunday cause he's not there. Its really cute. Thank you Uncle Trent for being here.
Thank you to my big Helpers as well. Sunday and every other day wouldn't be the same without you all. You have blessed my life in so many ways. Thank you!!! I love you Bret, Ty'makoa, Kai'imi and Ilikea. (I will miss Sunday morning next year when Church begins at 9 am)
